Now you can with the PBASIC Tokenizer Library, which now supports both PBASIC 2.0 and PBASIC 2.5.

The PBASIC Tokenizer is software that converts PBASIC source code to the "program tokens" that can be downloaded to BASIC Stamp modules. The PBASIC Tokenizer has always been embedded in the BASIC Stamp editor software* (DOS and Windows) and was not available as a separate program, until now.

The PBASIC Tokenizer is available in a pre-compiled shared library for various platforms, currently:

• Windows (95 and above)
• Linux
• Macintosh (OS 9 and OS X)

The tokenizer supports the BASIC Stamp 2, 2e, 2sx, 2p and 2pe modules. Any skilled developer can create a BASIC Stamp development environment by linking the tokenizer to their software (to compile) and implementing the BASIC Stamp Programming Protocol (to download).
